Gioia’s Rec:
One of the best fics I’ve seen with an explanation for how Albus Severus Potter was named.  The story is unabashed fluff, but with a shot of real depth and sincerity.  I never was fond of the idea that Harry automatically became Snape’s biggest fan after their mutual hatred of seven years.  So the way this story handles the issue feels very true to the characters.  Even Harry admits that Snape wouldn’t necessarily be happy about the naming!  But in the end it makes sense in a way that the Epilogue failed to communicate, at least to me.  So this story deserves a solid rec, if for no other reason than doing what any missing moment story should: taking canon and fleshing it out, enhancing it just a tad, in a way that makes canon more comprehensible.  Beautifully done.
