Story Summary:   Rather than staying alone at the parsonage with her headache, Elizabeth decides to go to Rosings to confront Mr. Darcy about his “strong objections” to Jane.

Gioia’s Rec:
How rare it is to find a story in which I absolutely love Lady Catherine! She is perfectly within character here and an absolute hoot! I love how she becomes Elizabeth’s unwitting accomplice in this short story, set during Elizabeth’s time at Hunsford. This was so much fun, utterly gratifying, and it accomplished quite a lot in a short time period!

My Only Critique: I would like to know if Darcy received quite the humbling that he needed without all three elements of Elizabeth’s rejection being included in this short story.  His behavior seems to indicate as much, but I’m not sure. Perhaps a sequel to this story might answer my question? Hint-Hint! 😉
