Summary: A short story … with apologies to Jane Austen …

Gioia’s Rec:
It’s funny, it’s well-written, and it’s labeled as “Fluff.” Of course I like it! The humor was absolutely delightful without being so silly that it annoyed me, as other parodies have occasionally done. This was a great piece of writing.
My only critique: The characterizations are reflective of the story’s parody nature, so don’t take it too seriously. Obviously the majority of the canon characters would have been a bit more serious, unhappy and less likely to behave irreverently given the setting of the final scene. But if you’re looking for a realistic depiction of canon in this story, you’re in the wrong place to begin with.
