Story Summary: It’s Ginny’s last year at Hogwarts and it’s time for her make decisions about her future. Harry has a few plans as well. As Luna says, “Don’t worry, Ginny, it’s only change.”

Gioia’s Rec:
The summary only covers the first portion of this epic story. After the war, Harry wants to marry Ginny. But as Ginny finds throughout this story, change is hard.

Ginny and Harry learn all about living and loving and even fighting together, and it’s beautiful to watch. The story isn’t angsty, it’s just very thoughtful and realistic. Marriage is hard! Getting married at that young age is even harder!

As the title indicates, the couple winds up in New Zealand where the author has to create an entirely new magical culture for her readers. New characters, new laws, new culture, new creatures – it’s fascinating. She’s done an amazing job of creating an entire world which feels very canonish, with characters who feel so real, you’ll easily find yourself invested in their lives. This is definitely a must read for Harry/Ginny fans.

A companion piece: Ron the Builder, is posted on the author’s LJ.
