Gioia’s Rec:
As I told the author immediately upon reading this fic, I’ve henceforth claimed this as my own personal canon for the Doctor Who episode “Journey’s End.” This is far more lovely.  Donna keeps her memories and is far more brilliant than we had a chance to witness, Rose and Jack have the discussion about Bad Wolf that we all groaned over when it didn’t make the episode, and the original Doctor is reminded that, as Donna says, “he’s an alien prawn who knows what’s best for everybody but him.”  It’s so much fun when Donna puts him in his place.  And this story manages to be brilliantly fun with a good measure of hurt/comfort thrown in.  It’s lovely. Go read it.  And while you’re at it, read the rest of the brilliant stories in the Twins!Verse.
