Gioia’s Rec:
Scifichick774 tagged this story as a pwp on her site.  But she obviously has a problem with understanding the generally accepted nature of pwp stories, as hers have WAY too much intriguing, plotty, creative content to be so easily dismissed as mere erotica!

As I’ve often said about this and others of her stories, there is some amazing of spine-tingling, tummy-flipping, spectacular writing within her love scenes.  But what continues to bring me back to this story time and again is the fun, creative way in which Hermione puts her wicked side to use on the side of the angels.  The author is so flipping inventive with the magics she creates, that in spite of how many, many stories she has written, she still manages to delight and amaze her readers.  Best of all, her Hermione’s character is extremely well written, as this fic definitely exemplifies.  “Brilliant, but scary” – isn’t that how Ron once described Hermione?  This Hermione is definitely both brilliant and scary.  And apparently, that is quite the turn on for Kingsley.  And with Kingsley’s introspective, intensely observant presence in this already exciting story, there is only one more thing I can say:  Yum.
