Gioia’s Rec:
This isn’t a particularly deep story.  There’s no underlying message or theme.  It isn’t going to change how you look at the Harry Potter series or even a particular character.  What it will do is make you laugh.  It’s a surprisingly realistic look at what life in the Gryffindor common room might’ve been like at a school where even one’s books can present a real and present danger, and where Harry Potter will always be trouble magnet.  “A Little Homework” is therefore most certainly worth checking out, not only because it makes me snort and giggle, but also because it is extremely well written, in terms of both technical proficiency and canon-centric characterizations.  And did I mention how many giggles it is capable of eliciting?
