Behind the Potted Plant by Steve

Story Title:  Behind the Potted Plant
Author Name:  Steve
Story Url: Story Link
Content Rating:  All Ages
Status: Completed
Length:   3,200 words
Story Summary:   Mr. Darcy does his best to hide out at the Meryton assembly, but his shyness is overcome by the potent combination of Mrs. Potter’s punch and a beautiful, but impertinent country miss.

Gioia’s Rec:
This was just perfect.  The lovely “what-if” scenario provides Mr. Darcy with a chance to pull his foot out of his mouth at the Meryton Assembly shortly after his “not handsome enough to tempt me” goof.  The story also provides us with some witty, quippy dialogue, several laughs, and a marvelously warm ending to the tale.

My Only Critique: If only there were more! 🙂
